About Razorent

Razorent Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Razorent," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Razorent app and platform for verified rentals. If you want to delete your account and associated data, follow the steps below.

How to Request Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your Razorent account and associated data in either of the following ways:

Option 1: From the Razorent app

  1. Open the Razorent app and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile (bottom tab).
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Under "Privacy & Security" or "Account", tap Delete account.
  5. Confirm by following the on-screen instructions. Your account and data will be deleted as described below.

Option 2: By email

Send an email to contact@razorent.com with the subject line "Delete my account" and include the email address or phone number associated with your Razorent account. We will process your request within the timeframe stated below.

Data We Delete

When you request account deletion, we permanently delete the following data associated with your account:

  • Account credentials and profile (name, email, phone number, avatar)
  • Your property listings (if you are a landlord) and related media
  • Your bookings and booking history
  • Your favorites and search history
  • Chat conversations and messages
  • Push notification token and notification preferences
  • Support or contact form submissions linked to your account
  • Profile view and activity data

Data We May Keep (and for how long)

We may retain the following for the stated reasons and periods:

  • Backups: Deleted data may remain in backup systems for up to 30 days after deletion, after which it is overwritten.
  • Legal and compliance: Where required by law (e.g. tax, dispute resolution), we may retain minimal records for the period mandated by applicable law (typically up to 7 years where required in India).
  • Anonymized or aggregated data: We may retain anonymized or aggregated statistics that cannot be used to identify you, for no fixed retention period.

Processing Time

We process account deletion requests within 7 to 14 days. If you submitted via the in-app flow, deletion is typically completed immediately. For email requests, we will confirm once your account and associated data have been deleted.
